Attitude to Guilds
Morvalis has a particular soft spot for the Adventurer’s Guild, formed as it was by Morvalin warriors looking for something to utilise their skills toward. It has a tendency to bring them up against others of a similar spirit, and some of the most positive international relations have come about off the back of the guild. There are almost always groups of Morvalins at branches of the Adventurer’s Guild in other nations, and if a message needs to get back to Morvalis fast, it is the most likely place to look for someone heading that way.
There is a certainty in the Court of Daggers that Morvalins appreciate; a simple bargain that there are consequences to shaking the boat, and sometimes someone will want your head.
The Treasure Hunter’s Guild, and its rumoured alternate side, the Thieves Guild, have never taken off as much as the Adventurers. Perhaps it is because most Morvalins prefer to make or commission new art than to seek long lost treasures. There are those – mostly connoisseurs – who appreciate the practice, and occasionally ancient works of art or craft are brought back to the Eternal Gallery for viewing.
