Attitude to Guilds
The Guilds are one of Syradonia’s links to the outside world. They are welcomed as bringers of news and support although some bristle at what they see as oversight beyond the Orders that they don’t need.
The Guilds have some administrative offices in the city, generally folded into the existing framework used by the Orders for simplicity as much as anything else.
Syradonians are still getting used to larger influxes of people from other nations, having been somewhat isolated for so long and there have been teething issues with the more homebound Syradonians who refuse to acknowledge what the outside world might offer.
Those who do see the value in the Guild and go on to join them view them as Syradonia views any community; These are your people and you should work to uplift them and yourselves with all that you do. This has also clashed when groups from multiple nations are formed from those with a more individualistic mindset, but Syradonians are nothing if not adaptable and many enjoy learning how to fit their skills into the wider world#
